Maintenance Technician - Holiday Inn

The Holiday Inn/ Robert's Centre located in Wilmington, Ohio  is searching for a  Maintenance Technician to assist in our busy maintenance department.  The ideal candidates have the experience and skill set required to perform the duties required in this role, has a true focus on creating a great guest experience, and are reliable team members who support the overall needs of the facility. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Will be responsible for performing preventative and regular maintenance and repairs to all areas of the hotel and convention center.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized maintenance shop, for the security of hotel inventory and assets such as: tools, supplies, furniture, fixtures and equipment.
• Complete all work orders that are assigned by any department.
• Must be able to understand and respond to customers' needs and ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction.
• Will need to carryout the prescribed preventative maintenance program to ensure the facility is maintained and in service for our guests (example: lighting, refrigeration, heating, air-conditioning, water treatment systems and pools, dry walling, etc).
• Needs to be able to promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
• Communicate with all the departments to stay informed of maintenance needs and ensure timely responses to requests.
• Must have the ability  to work after scheduled hours if maintenance issues should arise.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Management

• Must have a basic understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, flooring and carpentry concepts.

• 1-2 years of Hotel maintenance experience preferred.
