Mechanical Technician

Aerotek is currently seeking a Mechanical Technician.

The Mechanical Technician will be responsible for:
-Mechanical assembly of PCB assemblies
-Building of sub-assemblies
-Supporting conformal coat, masking, epoxy application and coating
-Supporting all mechanical assembly and integration
-Running functional testing on flight and non-flight hardware

The Mechanical Technician should be able to:
-Read, interpret and work from free form drawings as well as from controlled documentation and processes.
-Independently fabricate first article assemblies and/or fabricating mechanical assemblies.
-Independently perform verifications and documents results in a clear, precise and complete manner.
-Validate parts lists for avionics/electronics hardware.
-Assist with the development of production processes for first time production runs.
