Manufacturing Engineer

Client recently lost a team member at a critical point in their project. They are supporting a program for Boeing for the A10 Warthog and they need a temporary Mfg Engineer for the next 3-6 months to help get them through the end of the project.

Typical day in the life:
- Analyzing cure cycle data from the day before to identify/resolve issues with proper teams (1 hr)
- Reviewing MRB tags, making recommendations and dealing with MRB processes to eliminate non-conformances (4 hrs)
- Team meetings (1-1.5 hrs)
- General problem solving for the remainder of the day.

As an example, this person may identify a problem with the autoclaves and will need to address it with the operations team to find a solution. They must be a critical thinker who wan work through problems.

The project team has one other junior-level Mfg Engineer so this person will assume a lead role.

They will also need experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC). This will allow them to measure trending aspects of certain projects.

- Minimum 5-7 years of experience (open to higher levels of experience if within their budget)
- BS degree not required, but highly desired
- Must have experience working with composites
- Must have Excel experience
- Must have MRB experience
- Must be able to communicate technically and must have statistical expertise
- Must excel in a team/lead environment
