Animal Technician - Full-time / Part-time

URGENT INTERVIEWING ASAP

Research Company is actively seeking canidates for vivarium department. 2-3 openings available for full time and part time.

PREFERS NO EXP. No degree necessary. Restraunt experince a plus.

Major Responsibilities:

• Handling small rodents
• Cage Washing
• Husbandry
• Monitoring animals
• Operate, calibrate and perform routine maintenance on specialized equipment
• Maintain supply inventory
• Participate in weekly meetings

Qualifications:

• Experience working in a vivarium.
• Schedule Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm
• Flexible to adjust work schedule to accommodate varying work loads. Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends, holiday, and evenings to accommodate business needs.
• At times work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
  Use legible writing skills and ability to keep well-documented, accurate work records.

• work in a high-paced, quality service environment.
  perform assigned tasks without supervision.
• Demonstrated proficiency and accuracy in basic mathematical computation (i.e. addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages)
• Demonstrated proficiency in computer and modern office methods operations.
