About this job
The Material Planner will manage the flow of materials throughout the operation by coordinating the efforts of purchasing, production control and the shipping/receiving department, Engineering, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree
- APICS certification is preferred
- Experience in a complex Tier 1 or 2 Automotive OEM parts production facility.
- Advanced understanding of MRP Systems, Inventory control and the production planning process.
- Inventory control experience including cycle counting
- Minimum two (2) years in Material Planning role
- Knowledge of MAPICS/Future 3/Supply Web ERP systems - or similar systems.
