GENERAL LABOR LEAD (170433) - Full-time

Description

- DMD Lead Person The overall purpose of this position, i.e., To remove De-boned thighs from a conveyor and load properly into the Skinner at a specified rate. Must follow required rotation procedure.

Responsibilities

Describe below the four to six major responsibilities of this position which must be fulfilled with or without reasonable accommodation in order to achieve the essential purpose of this position.

#1 To perform all positions within the department as outlined in the job description in order to relieve associates as necessary..

#2 To direct the workforce within the department in order to ensure all positions are filled according to daily production needs and standards.

#3 To coordinate the rotation schedule every two hours to meed OSHA safety requirements and to ensure that all Perdue safety policies are adhered to.

#4 Take an active role in training new hires in order, that they meet departmental job requirements and are working as a team to meet departmental goals.

#5 Verify totes are being weighed correctly,no short weights or over weights.

#6 Play active roll in sending out A-Grade product to meet and/or exceed our customers satisfaction.

ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS.

The environmental factors and/or physical requirements of this position include the following:

Able to work in temperatures ranging from 32-60 degrees Fahrenheit with ambient humidity, noise exposure of 91.0db. Chlorine exposure of 20 ppm. Must wear personal protective equipment.

Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
