Our client, a large healthcare company in Miami, has an immediate need for a Collection representatives!
Must Haves:
- Must have 1-3 years of Collections experience.
- Must speak English.
- Must have 1-3 of healthcare experience.
Job Description
- Reviews Medicare accounts for necessary information required.
- Responds to technical help letters. Communicates with appropriate state agency as needed.
- Reviews and makes all necessary corrections and adjustments to claims, reviews Aged Trail Balance Report (ATB) on a regular basis to monitor collection progress and locates any possible problem areas.
- Recommends and forwards uncollectible accounts to your supervisor or final review and assists department management as needed.
- Reviews Medicaid pending report on a regular basis and performs any necessary follow up.
- Prepares accurate billing and submits to the appropriate state Medicaid System using electronic claim submissions when possible.
