HR Employee Relations Specialist - Full-time / Part-time

Valvoline is seeking an Employee Relations Specialist.   This position will be based in Lexington, KY.

As part of Valvoline’s HR team, you will provide support to employees and managers through policy interpretation, conflict resolution and statistical analysis.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of broad Human Resources experience with a concentration in providing employee relations and conflict resolution support to managers and employees. Candidates must possess working knowledge of Federal and State employment laws, strong written and oral communication skills, demonstrated project management and customer service skills along with the ability to work collaboratively with employees at all levels within the organization.  Additionally, they will have experience in conducting internal incident investigations, facilitating training and utilizing statistics to create business cases for improvement in workforce effectiveness.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a related field
• Minimum 5 years of broad Human Resources experience
• SHRM, PHR certification a plus!
• Comfort with instructing small and large groups
• Willingness to do periodic travel
• Bilingual Spanish preferred
• Applicant must be authorized to work in the United States, no Visa sponsorship will be provided
