Accounts Receivable Billing Operations Analyst

Our tests include full gene analysis by DNA sequencing, the gold standard of genetic testing. As we continue to grow, we're seeking a well-organized, detail-oriented, motivated self-starter with excellent customer service skills for our Accounts Receivable Billing Operations Analyst opening in our Elmwood Park, NJ offices.

In this position you will perform a variety of billing tasks related to the monitoring of A/R operations from many angles.

Specific Responsibilities include:

• Establishing CPT codes for custom Molecular Genetic testing
• Sustaining documentation supporting valid user system access for quarterly SOX audits
• Maintaining worklist activity and research items
• Tracking departmental productivity
• Reviewing fee schedules and maintaining client listings for billing exceptions.

Qualifications include:

• Medical Coding and Billing Certificate - Medical Terminology/Coding (ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT)
• 3+ years of medical billing experience
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel (critical), and Word
• Good working knowledge of computerized data management systems and healthcare operation
• Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills
