As a Technical Support Lead you will be part of our Solutions Support & Maintenance Operations team (SS&MO) supporting several Priority 1 critical business applications built on Service Oriented Architecture. You'll stretch your skills and grow your career in this fast moving role where you will be responsible for application availability and stability, coordinate work efforts with the offshore team, manage small infrastructure upgrade projects, identify and implement process improvements and work on high priority customer issues.  This is a unique role where your efforts will make an impact to our members.
 
Primary Responsibilities:

Provide production support of several Priority 1 critical business applications built on Service Oriented Architecture running on WESB, IIB and Mule / Talend
Work with the on / offshore production support team handling Incident and Problem tickets
Provide on - call support (24x7) during critical issue resolution
Ensure overall organizational support goals are met (i.e. SLA, incident / problem reduction, application availability)
Coordinate root cause analysis efforts for permanent resolution on all IncidentsAbility to troubleshoot complex production issues
Manage infrastructure upgrade projects
Collaborate with cross functional teams on issue resolution
Work with the Development team to understand the new functionality being deployed and ensure all support readiness requirements are met
Mentor junior team members providing training and technical direction as needed
Ability to adjust both written and oral communications to a variety of different audiences
Ability to work independently to complete assigned tasks

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming (OOPS) concepts
5+ years of experience with the Software Development including production support
Experience with Java / J2EE / JSP / JSF development
Experience with UNIX and Shell Scripting
Experience with developing APIs or Web Services
Experience with RDBMS (Oracle or MySQL or DB2)
Knowledge of XML, SOAP and WSDL
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with integrated platform as a service (iPaaS) technology such as Mule / IIB ESB
Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodology
Knowledge of SVN or any other source code control systems
Experience with WebSphere
Knowledge of Gateway such as Layer 7 or Data Power
Experience with Anypoint Studio, RabbitMQ
Experience working with offshore teams
Experience working within a matrix organization
Exposure to ITIL
Healthcare Industry Experience
Knowledge of HP ServiceNow or similar tool
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Good inter personal skills
Ability to work independently as well as a team
Strong communication skills
