As the HRIS Analyst for Talent you will play an integral part in supporting the Talent Department in a wide range of system administration and customer service support. You will focus on our current and future Applicant Tracking System (ATS) optimization, implementation and the integration with other systems. You will act as a liaison between the HR Systems and Talent Selection teams as well as collaborate with other HR functions and the Information Technology team.  

  

Reporting to the Director, HR Systems Services, located in Calabasas Hills, CA, you will work with a team of four, supporting the Talent systems for a 2 billion dollar company with over 200 full service restaurants and more than 35,000 staff members. 

PLEASE NOTE:  This opportunity will be located at our Corporate Support Center in Calabasas Hills, CA.  Relocation assistance is available. 

 

Here’s what you’ll get to do: 

  • Provide subject matter expertise around optimizing and streamlining the ATS and associated Talent systems. 
  • Play a key role in project initiation efforts by defining project scope and supporting the development of work plans, estimates, and timelines.  
  • End to end project support, including business requirements, analysis, functional design, configuration, testing, and implementation. 
  • Configuration of system to meet the business needs (e.g. processes, user interfaces, correspondences, etc.)  
  • Develop business cases and financial analyses for major project investments. 
  • Provide technical/functional support and the development/delivery of business user training for the ATS (train-the-trainer approach). 
  • Identify, analyze, and document process flows, system diagrams, and data models. 
  • Maintain the integrity of the ATS by conducting regular audits, streamlining processes, increasing data integrity and providing valuable guidance to end users. 
  • Provide oversight and guidance to ensure that Talent Department systems and processes meet all data privacy, compliance, and regulations. 
  • Leverage contract and vendor resources to provide prompt, personalized service to internal users and candidates.  
  • Drive efficient reporting metrics & analytics and analyze impacts to downstream reporting and systems. 
  • Create customized reports using relational database reporting tools such as Crystal or other vendor specific tools. 
  • Leverage system and process expertise in analyzing and troubleshooting complex system/user issues to drive resolution and determine root cause. 
  • Lead/manage issue resolution efforts across end-users, peer support groups, technical support teams, and vendors as required.  
  • Work closely with system vendors to resolve any systems related issues, implement required updates, and design/maintain interfaces.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience working with an ATS within a multi-location company preferred. 
  • 2+ years of Talent data analytics experience with the ability to interpret SQL is a plus 
  • Demonstrated knowledge with ATS’, specifically Taleo and/or Cornerstone On Demand is a plus.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in Talent related systems (e.g. job aggregators, assessments, CRM, etc.). 
  • Proven experience working on medium to large-scale complex HR technology projects. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. 
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, and Outlook). 
  • Bachelor's Degree (BS/BA) in Information Technology, Business Administration, Human Resources or 3 + years of applicable work experience is preferred.
