* This is a seasonal position that begins in September and ends in April

 

Job Summary: The Cashier is an entry-level, front of house position in The General Store at Kirkwood. These individuals are responsible for providing friendly service to our guests while handling guest purchases, accepting payment and counting change. The cashier position also assists in stocking the grocery floor/shelves, making deli sandwiches, side work duties including bussing tables, trash removal, sweeping, washing dishes and cleaning restrooms.  We are looking for individuals with a strong guest focus and upbeat attitude.

 

Requirements:

•Strong communication skills

•Ability to work holidays and weekends

•Excellent guest service skills

•Ability to stand for up to 6 hours

•Ability to lift and carry 50lbs

 

Preferred Skills:

•Previous Food and Beverage experience

•Previous cash-handling experience

•TIPS Certification

•California Food Handlers Card - required within 30 days  of employment
