LTI Services is seeking ALL Shift Factory/Production Positions for a prominent Boat Manufacturing plant in Elkhart, IN. Pay rates start at $11/hour up to $17/hour, depending on position. Desired candidate must have a high energy level, the ability to lift between 30 to 75 lbs (depending on position) and perform all job duties successfully.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience/skills required for respective position - Reading a tape measure, using air, power and hand tools and working with fiberglass/metal.
  • Prior Manufacturing/CNC/Press Operating experience - Reading blueprints, bending and cutting metal.
  • Prior Final Finish - Fiberglass repair - Inside and outside of all deck and hulls, repair all areas - floors, helms, seat boxes, sinks, and ladder pockets.
    • Inspecting all parts for defects
    • Repairing all air voids, scratches, mold marks and thin gel.
    • Buff complete repair area.
    • Understand process of line moves.
  • 1 Year experience Warehouse Receiver - Operate a forklift (must have license or certification) Will be responsible for Receiving and inspecting materials. Also will provide production with their parts and kit orders, communicating with team members and operating a forklift safely.·

    • Operates paint spray guns.
    • Operates forklifts.
    • Operates overhead hoists.
    • Applies bondo putty to master plugs.
    • Hand and power sanding.
  • Prior Fiberglass Mold Repair - Responsible for inspecting molds to ensure quality and repairing mold defects (chips, cracks, scratches, air bubbles, and gouges) using bondo, gel coat, sanders, drills, grinders, buffers with rubber compound, chemicals (sealers, cleaners, and mold release), chopping, and rolling fiberglass.
    • Fiberglass / Mold repair experience.
    • Reworking, or looking for any flaws within the units and fixing them.
    • Ability to operate all hand and air tools.
    • Ability to repair fiberglass by waxing, sealing, and buffing molds.
    • Must be able to use electric or air buffer for extended periods of time.
    • Able to use a Tyvek suit, dust masks, 1/2 face respirator, and goggles.
  • Maintenance Professional - Responsible for working on or repairing all machinery and tools including CNC machines, welders, air compressors, air tools, fiberglass, laminate and hydraulic equipment. Also includes ordering parts, working with corporate office personnel, completing paperwork, and coordinating summer help, clean-up crews, and janitorial personnel.
    • Perform routine preventative maintenance on machines.
    • Knowledge of how to use and repair all standard air and hand tools.
    • Experienced in all electrical and plumbing.
    • CNC/PLC knowledge.
    • Trained in ARC flash and lockout.
