Our At Home Store Directors are enthusiastic and passionate about their work, team and home decor. Our leaders drive success by building, training, developing, and motivating the store team, providing superior customer service and consistently executing operational functions as per company standards.
Responsibilities:

  • Provides customers a positive shopping experience. Works with the leadership team to create a positive customer service environment.
  • Responsible for building opening and closing tasks which includes timely openings, operational readiness and safety, troubleshooting, team leadership, and security.
  • Completes store operational requirements by coordinating with the Assistant Store Managers to develop the schedule scheduling and assigning employees; following up on assigned tasks; following all scheduling directives and monitoring and tracking attendance.
  • Maintains appropriate level of store staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees while ensuring that all positions are filled with the best possible candidate at all times. Identifies and develops employees for future advancement within the company.
  • Timely and thorough incident reporting compliance.
  • Submits Facility, IT, and store communication requests as needed.
  • Drives productivity by developing, training, coaching, and counseling employees
  • Validates consistent freight processing, recovery, conditioning and merchandising standards
  • Operates all equipment in a safe manner per directed procedures
  • Ensures a safe working and shopping environment while minimizing shrink and damages

Qualifications:

  • At least 18 years old
  • High School Diploma/Equivalent
  • At least 3 years direct leadership responsibility & accountability for annual revenue, operating budget, or profit & loss dollars of at least million in a retail big box or high volume restaurant
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and some holidays
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs, team lift 100 lbs
