Description

Maintenance Coordinator
The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for planning, scheduling and assigning maintenance work orders, reviewing work requests, and ensuring proper parts are stocked.

Shift and Schedule
This is a full time permanent position working on 1st shift. 1st shift hours are from 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday through Friday. Must be open to overtime and weekends as needed.

Position Responsibilities



1. Manage a complete PC based spare parts and inventory control system

2. Develop a complete understanding of the day to day activities of the maintenance department

3. Work closely with fellow team members in the maintenance department regarding parts procurement to prohibit downtime

4. Track Preventative Maintenance (PM) Completions vs. PM Planned rate and report on Maintenance progress on a regular basis

5. Prepare order documentation, Process Purchase Orders and Vendor payment and receiving

6. Facilitate Maintenance Planning meetings and Impact Workshops

7. Develop detailed plans and cost estimates for major overhauls

8. Analyze downtime data and maintain action plans

9. Reduce unscheduled corrective maintenance

Qualifications

Qualifications

· High school diploma or GED

· Previous experience with SAP or similar inventory management system

· Minimum of 2 years’ experience with Microsoft Office work in inventory in a manufacturing environment

· 1 year of experience working in Maintenance department and/or working with Preventative Maintenance programs and Work Order Systems
