Charter Communications currently seeks a Director Product Management – Spectrum Enterprise Video for our Spectrum Enterprise Group. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.

Essential Job Functions:
•Manage the life cycle of existing video product offerings for the enterprise verticals with specific focus on hotels, hospitals, colleges and education verticals. Communicate the product vision, progress/status and organizational needs to all levels in the company including executive management.
•Drive Charter Enterprise’s video product strategy by defining new business products and services for hospitality, healthcare, colleges and government/education verticals. Anticipate customer needs and develop requirements from those customer needs. Identify new growth and revenue opportunities for the enterprise segment.
•Determine optimal pricing and quantify financial returns.
•Serve as a liaison to sales to support the sales team achieve their goals. Identify barriers for sales and work cross-functionally to implement improvements through development of clear functional requirements.
•Serve as liaison between sales, marketing, business operations and development teams for product, operational and support issues and improvements.
•Negotiate third party vendor contracts
•Work with programming to launch new channel lineups or other programming or make updates to existing programming options.

Job Requirements:
•5+ years of product management experience operating in a cross-functional/matrixed environment in a telecommunications, cable or satellite organization. B2B experience required.
•Experience managing a group of product managers.
•Solid understanding of product management life-cycle, product development and pricing of bulk video offerings
•3+ years of Product Management and Program Management experience in QAM and IP video services, understanding of hospitality products a plus.
•5+ years of overall business experience with experience in a high technology/telecommunication services environment strongly preferred
•Experience with pricing structures, rate plans, coverage, and other cost drivers is desired
•Ability to build interdepartmental relationships
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as analytical and documentation skills
•Able to multitask and perform in a fast paced and changing environment with minimal direction and supervision
•Strong personal work ethic
•Product lifecycle management, requirements process and methodologies

Preferred Qualifications:
•Product development and Management Association (PDMA) membership and NPDA Certification a plus; MBA a plus

Education and Experience:
•Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year College or University; or equivalent training, education and experience.

Additional Educational Information:
•Master’s degree in Business or Technology and at least 5 years related experience with a minimum of 3 years product management / development experience or equivalent combination of education and experience; with a data or video service provider, LEC, cable operator (MSO), or Internet Service Provider (ISP).

Travel Requirements:
•Travel 15%
