Hours: Part Time (M-F 7-9:30am & 2:30-6:30pm)
General Summary: Duties include driving the club vans, leading & assisting group games, supervising computer time, swimming, rock climbing and gym activities, and being a positive role model for school age children.
Qualifications: Teacher School Age - Must have taken at least 1 course related to school age child development (education or psychology based.) Must have at least 400 hours of experience working with school age children OR 1 year of college (30 credits) OR some combination of the two. Strong leadership skills. Previous van driving experience preferred. 45-hour school age certification from CCA preferred. Assistant Teacher School Age - Must have previous experience working with children, 45 hours school age certification from CCA preferred but not required.
Additional Requirements: Requires Child/Adult CPR certification and first aid (an applicant who does not currently have these qualifications will be trained upon hire.) Clear driving record. Availability between the hours of 7am-9:30am and/or 2:30-6:30 M-F (Sept-June,) and occasionally earlier on varying days of school closings and early dismissals
