Bakery Lead - Full-time / Part-time

Emphasis in this position is to assist the Bakery Manager on ongoing department planning, execution and evaluation in order to ensure maximum sales and profit opportunities, effective cost control, efficient utilization of labor and strong customer service levels. This position is responsible for assisting the Bakery Manager in providing effective training, development and work direction for department associates and requires ability to encourage individual and group effort toward department objectives.

Requires high school diploma or general education degree; one to three years retail experience; or equivalent

combination of education and experience. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating

and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of

measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals in order to read financial reports. Ability to

compute rate, ratio, and percent. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in

situations where only limited standardization exists.
