POSITION PURPOSE

The Supply Chain Finance Team is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to lead the eCommerce Supply Chain Finance Team. This is a great opportunity to own an approximate billion dollar supply chain P&L of a fast growing and dynamic business. In this role, you will work on everything from end-to-end supply chain financial planning and analysis to helping drive strategic business decisions for merchants, supply chain, and corporate finance.  

The role entails managing a team of managers and financial analysts and leveraging the team's analytical work to help plan, report, and think strategically. It will also entail frequent interaction with senior leadership across Supply Chain, Merchandising, Finance, and Business Development, so a combination of strong analytical and communication skills is required.


MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
· Financial planning, reporting, forecasting and analytics for the ecommerce supply chain (i.e., transportation, fulfillment centers, and G&A)

· Managing and enhancing an activity-based costing methodology and tools to drive improved cross-enterprise decision-making

· Partnering with the business partners to set goals, drive the initiatives that will achieve them, and measure performance
· Executing ad hoc analysis and providing business recommendations in a thoughtful manner
· Providing strategic insights and recommendations that drive improved near and long-term business performance


NATURE AND SCOPE
· Reports to Senior Director of Supply Chain Finance for eCommerce, Store Delivery, and Strategy

· Manages team and accountable for their work activities and performance reviews


ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
· Located at The Home Depot’s Store Support Center (corporate headquarters) 
· Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.


Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job. 

Years of Relevant Work Experience: 6 years

Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in ecommerce, supply chain, or related fields
  • Proactive, process- and results-driven, able to set priorities right and committed to deadlines
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication and presentation skills working with senior management
  • Technical experience with SQL and reporting tools such as Tableau
  • MBA/BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Technical, or related field
  • Financial acumen including familiarity with forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and related skills
  • Highly analytical and detail oriented
  • Prior management experience


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:

Thorough working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and internal accounting controls 

Knowledge of business and management. Principles involved in strategic planning and resource allocation.
Ability to develop and implement strategies that support the objectives of the company
Ability to lead and develop subordinates
Able to effectively communicate with all departments and levels of associates through both verbal and written methods
Critical thinking skills; using logic to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, applying general rules to specific problems.
