DESCRIPTION This position provides high-level administrative support to the State Health Office Tuberculosis Program and is the sole administrative support for this program. This position directly supports the Section Administrator and a leadership team of six individuals as well as supports staff located in Tallahassee and throughout the state. The administrative functions required of this position include but are not limited to the following: General Administrative: Answers phones and route inquiries appropriately; open and triage mail and triage confidential faxes; maintain calendars for conference line and Go To Meeting account; create and disseminate satisfaction surveys; track all assignments; proof and edit correspondence and presentations to meet DOH standards; maintain staff directories and assigned email distribution lists. Travel: Manage the travel request and reimbursement processes for the program and complete all associated paperwork for staff. Provide direct support for travel arrangements to the Section Administrator. Liaison: Serve as the liaison and respond to associated assignments related to Continuity of Operations and annual Information Security and Privacy Risk Assessment; Serve as the Records Management Liaison and ensures records are managed appropriately; Serves as Personnel Liaison and support supervisors and staff in the completion of required forms.
