Senior Project Manager - Pharmacutical Sciences - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek is seeking a project manager for a pharmaceutical company in the Kansas City area. This is a long term permanent position for a great company! Below is the detailed job description and the qualifications.

• Coordination with sales, operations, client services, and QA to ensure the highest level of client service.
• Will manage projects that may reside within multiple business lines or sites as assigned.
• Act as single point of contact for the client and facilitate responses to Customer questions and observations
• Preparation and management of a Project Plan to meet required milestones.
• Lead meetings with client and internal teams to facilitate project completion.
• Deliver the project within agreed upon time-line and budget.
• Provide notification of milestone completions for billing to finance.
• Will be primary client communication focal point for project team and be the client advocate
• Train PM's and Project Coordinators within the group, as needed.
• May have management responsibilities for a team of Project Managers (PM's and/or Project Coordinators) and is responsible for the work of that group; and to understand the workload of the group.
• Will take on additional assignments for the department, group and/or site.
• Will be able to speak to all business services and will promote the company at client meetings and conferences.
• Work with sales to win new business
• Will be proficient in technical aspects of PM related software used by site.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree of Science related field
• 6+ years of client facing, PM, or scientific environment
• In depth knowledge of pharmaceutical and biotech industries
• Leadership, negotiation, presentation, and facilitation skills
• Ability to lead a large team that may involve multiple sites
• Ability to train and lead a team of PMs that would be direct reports
