One of the nations leading provider of data center solutions and resources is seeking to add an electrical engineer to their team. They design, build, operates, monitors and maintains business-critical facilities for some of the most data-reliant private and public sector organizations in the world, including Coca-Cola, JP Morgan, Northrop Grumman, the U.S. Department of Defense, Time Warner, Verizon and many others. The candidate will be responsible for the following and will have the following qualifications.
- Generating single line drawings, layouts, schedules, routings, distribution and motor control schemes, as well as inter connection diagrams for power, lighting and grounding systems.
- Reviewing and checking drawings to ensure that the designs meet the technical needs of the client and adhere to industry standards for reliability and safety
- Reviewing and interpreting power system studies such as load flows, short circuits, coordination and arc flash using ETAP and SKM programs
- Selecting electrical equipment suitable for hazardous areas
- Performing design for lighting and power distribution panels
- Design lighting layout
- Develop electrical riser diagrams and sizing equipment, feeders, etc.
- They will also be doing lay out drawings showing how the equipment will be put together. All work will be done in and around Data Centers.
- EIT
- AutoCAD experience
- Design power distribution, and lighting layout .
