This is a posting for a Community Affairs internship. Our summer internship program runs from June 22 to August 26, 2017.

As an intern in Community Affairs you will support the Community Affairs manager in implementing adidas' corporate giving, employee giving, volunteering, and community partnership activities.

The internship provides the opportunity to gain experience in a variety Community Affairs related responsibilities which may include the following:

* Develop and manage employee giving campaigns on the adidas all in for good internal site.

* Develop and manage employee volunteering campaigns on the adidas all in for good internal site.

* Research and evaluate on-line charity management solutions for internal and external charitable requests.

* Manage employee volunteer events including communication, volunteer recruitment, event management, evaluating and recapping results.

* Manage community events with external partners.

* Write and publish community affairs opportunities and stories to aLIVE (adidas internal communication platform)

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

* Education and/or experience in the areas of community programs, non-profit charities, corporate responsibility or philanthropy.

* Ability to work independently on projects applying appropriate expertise and decision-making.

* Ability to prioritize and execute multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.

* Strong project management skills and event coordination experience.

* Excellent written, interpersonal, and verbal skills.

* Reliable, with strong initiative and follow-through.

* Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.

* Computer skills, including but not limited to, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and MS Power Point, MS SharePoint and Photoshop a plus.

Qualifications (Minimum required education and experience):

* College senior or four year college degree with emphasis on business.

* Interest, experience, or study around CSR (corporate social responsibility) topics.

* Combination of education and experience may be substituted for degree.
