MUST HAVE ACCEPTABLE CRIMINAL AND DRIVING RECORDS. MUST BE PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS, RELIABLE, PUNCTUAL, AND TEAM ORIENTED.  Qualified drivers will safely deliver and assist passengers to and from medical (non limited to) appointments on time. No CDL required.

Driver Requirements for MasterCare of SC

• All Candidates must be professional, courteous, dependable, and punctual (on-time).
•  Must be flexible. Work hours vary. Full Time Position. Rotating weekends.
• Candidates must be able to work flexible hours. Schedules will vary from day to day.
• Drivers must be able to successfully pass the following test/screenings initially and ongoing:
  • Criminal Background check – We only hire applicants with clean criminal back-round checks.
  • 10 panel Drug Test – This is a Drug Free Workplace
  • 7 year Motor vehicle check NOTE: if you have had a suspended license due to a moving violation or more than 2 moving violations, you need not apply due to MCSC Liability Insurance Co. restrictions. If you are unsure, obtain your 7-10yr MVR driving record from you local DMV office before applying for this position.
• 3 Company supplied Online Classes: 
  • HIPPA - protecting the confidentiality and security of healthcare information
  • Defensive Driving
  • P.A.S.S Basic (part 1) - Passenger Assistance Safety and Service
• Must obtain a SC DOT (physical) card from a physician (not supplied by company)
• First aid / CPR - Company supplied
• P.A.S.S class (part 2) hands on wheelchair securement and safety training. - Company supplied
• Orientation - Company supplied

Training:

• Working alongside a senior driver.
• Mapping out schedules for the next day.
• Confirming all appointments with riders prior to beginning route (day before).
• Assisting with properly and safely loading and unloading members in vehicles assuring all are buckled up and secured at all times.
• Learning to fill out all required paperwork properly assuring its accuracy and validity.
• Other General information
• Employees will generally be working in the following areas but not limited to:
• The Upstate/Central of South Carolina - Local and Long Distance Trips.
• Vans are currently parked in, Greenwood and /or Lexington SC-subject to change.
• Work days are Monday-Saturday - Saturdays are on rotation.
• Candidates must be able to work flexible hours. Schedules will vary from day to day.
• MasterCare supplies work shirts and badges. Candidates must wear Black, Grey, or khakis pants. NO JEANS.
• Candidates must supply own GPS.
