CNC Lead Machinist
OEM contract Manufacturer working with a variety of metals and plastic is looking for a CNC Lead Machinist to join their core team of leaders. This is a hands on position that provides opportunity to use skills and passion for machining while helping to develop the skills of a team of machinists.
- Obtain daily department job assignments.
- Observe daily schedule requirements and communicate them to operators.
- Set up machines as required to meet schedule demands.
- Communicate opportunities for process improvement.
- Maintain all fixtures and tooling in the department.
- Attend company courses and assist on project teams when asked.
- Writing and giving reviews, disciplinary actions and accident reports as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of Lead or Supervisory experience within a machining environment
- Minimum of 4 years of CNC Machine set up experience.
- Must be able to read and work from blueprints
- Quality focused
- Must be able to lift up to 70lbs.
