About this job
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing various mechanical and electrical preventative maintenance and troubleshooting to keep production lines up and running.
The position would consist of 60% mechanical troubleshooting and repairs, 20% electrical troubleshooting and repairs. There would also be 20% preventative maintenance on machinery.
Machinery would include autopackers, labelers and palletizer equipment. Maintenance will also assist operators with setup of the machines up for changeovers, as needed.
Common tasks will include wiring switches, starters, breakers, working within electrical panels up to 480volt, running conduit and troubleshooting photo switches/sensors, changing out 3 phase motors, repairing hydraulics, basic PLC troubleshooting (Allen Bradley), adjusting suction cups, and more.
Must Have:
- High School Diploma
- Minimum 5 Years Previous Maintenance Experience in an industrial setting.
- Strong Leadership Abilities & Desire to Develop Others
Nice to Have:
- Formal Schooling/Education/Certifications within Mechanical or Electrical Maintenance
