JOB DESCRIPTION
- Construct labratory and test equipment for testing aviation wire harnesses and cable
- Including building break out box, wire harnesses and other equipment
- Technician will be setting up and building replicas in the testing lab
- Working in a lab working with Military Wire Harnesses that are custom made for military type vehicles they cannot be bought off the shelf
- Work with connectors, soldering, wire harnesses and test fixtures
- The building houses a lot of government projects and some areas require a security clearance to even enter or work on the projects. facility is very clean organized.
- 6 month government contract, Mon-Fri 1st shift
REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to pick up an aircraft schematic and identify the components and wires in diagram
- Work with the team of technicians to build a replica inside of the lab.
- Candidate will be expected to know how to build wire harness, troubleshoot them if there are any issues as well as learn how to solder to build them properly
- Prior military aircraft experience or A&P license is preferred
