Set-up and Operate
This individual will be responsible for setting up and operating a CNC Haas and Tsugami Lathe Machine to produce machined parts in the Aerospace, Semi-Conductor, and Oil & Gas Industries however, it is a job shop that takes on a variety of types of work.
This individual will be responsible for performing the following tasks:
- Individual must be able to read blue prints to set up CNC Lathe Equipment.
- Will load the program, tooling, and parts into the machine
- Must be capable of making edits with G & M Codes if necessary
- Will perform 1-2 set-ups per day. This is based on the project and the production run
- Machinist will be responsible for completing in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and height gauges
- Familiar with Haas Controls and Fanuc Controls
- Ensuring that equipment is running properly and basic preventative maintenance is performed on equipment
