Job Summary: Directly responsible for the daily operation of the Admissions and Aquatics Departments. Responsible for the supervision of the Supervisors, Leads, and front line Team Members in the Admissions and Aquatics Departments, and ensures all company standards are met in cooperation with all company management, departments and outside vendors. Key Objectives: Assure smooth and timely flow of Guests through the Front Gate and Season Pass Processing. Develop and manage the budgets for the Hurricane Harbor and Admissions Department. Ensure implementation of all cash handling procedures to ensure compliance by every Admissions Team Member, ensuring over/short objectives are met. Ensure all training materials and classes for both departments are completed in a timely manner. Ensure that the Guest Relations and Will Call processes are efficient and effective. Ensure that Six Flags and Jeff Ellis and Associates Standards are consistently met by the Lifeguard Team. Activities Include: Providing direct supervision to Team Members through daily interface with the team. Ensures proper staffing levels are maintained through proper scheduling and follow up with the Supervisors and Team Members. Communicate with Marketing regularly to ensure that all coupons and promotional media are properly handled in the Admissions Department. Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring the Admissions and Waterpark operating budgets to ensure adherence to the budget goals set for both areas. Carry out any disciplinary measures necessary to ensure that Team Members follow park policy and procedure each day. Ensures that all cash handling procedures are properly trained to the staff and will follow through to ensure strict adherence to the cash handling policy. Work with the Group Sales department to ensure that all group tickets are handled properly and are delivered to the gate in a timely manner. Cover Admissions, Hurricane Harbor, Operations, and Park Duty Manager shifts as assigned. Adhere to all department and company safety policies. Maintain company mantra of providing Friendly, Clean, Fast and Safe Service to our Guests. Committee leadership participation for the Fright Fest and/or Holiday in the Park events . The ideal candidate must possess: 2 years park experience and an Admissions and/or Aquatics background is a plus. High School Diploma. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in computer software is critical, Admissions is a technology-oriented department. Previous experience in supervising a team of over 300 members. Must be highly organized and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Must be able to walk and stand for up to 4 hours at a time. Applicants must be capable of lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds. Job requires work on weekends, nights, and holidays. Must be able to obtain Jeff Ellis and Associates Instructor License within 1 year of start of job. Valid state driver's license. Park: Six Flags St. LouisPark: six flags st. louis
