Perform trending analysis to monitor the sanctioned delegated groups’ claims processing activities and compliance to regulatory turnaround time requirements.

Obtain weekly required reports from groups. Follow-up with groups to ensure timely receipt of the required reports.
Analyze and validate accuracy of data contained in the reports. Work with the groups and provide necessary input to correct erroneous reports and enhance incomplete reports.
Create and maintain TAs/Graphs/Comments on a weekly basis for CURTeam Manager to review and present to the groups during the onsite visits.
Determine the delegates’ compliance to the established regulatory turnaround time (TAT) requirements. Identify potential red-flags in the groups’ operations and root-causes contributing to non-compliance. Conduct detailed discussions with groups and gather necessary information to explain/justify non-compliant ratings. Confer with CURTeam Manager on complicated issues for proper guidance and direction.
Actively participate in all functions of sanction enforcement, including the following:

Assist the CURTeam Manager when conducting a comprehensive operational assessment for newly-sanctioned groups. Perform operational assessments on assigned departments that the RA has been trained on (specifically the IT/IS Department, Customer Service and Checkrun Process.) Identify workflow deficiencies in these areas and create necessary corrective action plans (CAP) for incorporation into the master CAP. Take detailed notes documenting ‘as is’ the assessment being conducted.
Travel to sanctioned groups with CURTeam Manager. Conduct onsite visits at the sanctioned delegated groups when the CURTeam Manager is unavailable due to conflict in schedule, especially when several delegates are sanctioned at the same time. Conduct the onsite meetings accordingly. Perform a walk-thru of the claims department and document the claims processing TATs to ensure soundness of the delegates’ operations.
Obtain all weekly required reports and any other documentation/P&Ps/workflows/etc. required from the group.
Assist the CURTeam Manager in other activities relating to the sanctioned groups.
Assist the CURTeam Manager in directing and overseeing implementation of process improvements at the delegated groups when necessary.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously to ensure timely and successful completion.
Perform monthly invoicing and collection activities.

Create Timesheets and CURTeam Invoices to bill groups for time spent on sanction enforcement activities.
Collect on outstanding and past due invoices to ensure that payments are received timely. Responsible for maintaining the CURTeam accounts receivable current at 60 days from invoice date.
Post payments received from the sanctioned groups. Coordinate with internal UHC Finance Department in forwarding ‘live’ checks for deposit.
Work directly with UHC Finance to implement or modify current processes for handling CURTeam checks to ensure timely deposits.
Oversee the checkruns performed under the segregated checking account when one is established for a sanctioned group.

Manage the checkrun process when a segregated checking account is established for a sanctioned group to ensure meeting the regulatory timeliness requirements for claims processing. Reconcile pre- and post-checkrun reports, balance general ledger, monitor bank account balance, etc. Work directly with UHC Finance to ensure that the segregated checking account is adequately monitored.
Request Monthly Bank Statements from the group. Initiate necessary follow-up to ensure that statements are received timely.
Conduct monthly Paid Claims Reconciliation and perform outstanding checks reconciliation.
Follow-up with group on outstanding checks until all checks are cashed/cleared from the bank.
Perform all other required CURTeam activities, including the following:

Handle and facilitate timely resolution of technical issues relating to the CURTeam database and share drive.
Provide administrative support to CURTeam Manager. Schedule, coordinate and facilitate team meetings.
Schedule all required onsite visits for sanction implementation. Make necessary travel arrangements, as needed.
Coordinate assigned action items, and provide minute taking and distribution of materials, correspondence, agenda, etc. required for team meetings.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED
3+ years of experience in Data Management, Research Analyst, or Reporting Analyst roles
Recent Advanced proficiency with MS Access, Word, Visio, and Outlook
Recent Intermediate level proficiency utilizing MS Excel
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time nationally based on business needs
Preferred Qualifications:

Associate's Degree or higher
