POSITION PURPOSE –

As an IT Business Analyst within Data Center Facilities, you will drive the procurement process for Data Center Facilities Contracts, SOWs, NDAs, MSA's with the PMO, Procurement, Legal, Vendors, and Project Team. This consists of Data Center, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Fire Infrastructure, etc. as well as vendor management. You will also drive IT equipment removal activities for the Atlanta Data Center, document process improvements and perform requirements gathering for internal work efforts. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring IT Operations Data Center team completes our responsibilities to comply with SOX/PCI controls; drives onboarding activities specific to the Data Center Facilities team and assists in training them; back-up the project manager for financial tracking, purchasing submittals, and managing of smaller work streams within the overall project.

PREFERRED QUALIFCATIONS –

Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Knowledge of Data Center Infrastructure a plus e.g. Server, Network, Storage, etc.

Experience/Understanding of Mechanical/Electrical infrastructure that supports a Data Center. E.g. Generators, Switch Gear, UPS systems, HVAC, Fire Infra., Power, etc.

Bachelor degree is preferred

Strong written and verbal communications skills, presentation and facilitation skills are required

Ability to communicate to a wide variety of audiences, both business and technical

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Ability to influence business owners and senior management

Understanding of financial concepts is preferred

Understanding of procurement processes is preferred

Understanding of IT Infrastructure is preferred

Ability to work in a matrixed resource environment to accomplish goals and meet schedules

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS –

Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS –

EDUCATION REQUIRED –

The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE - 1

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS –

Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

25% Coordinating research and resolution of operational questions or production support issues.

15% Assisting with writing QA test cases for changes and performing QA testing.

15% Participation in the design processes for changes in other areas of the business and identification of impacts to the system(s) supported.

15% Coordinating the change request process working with both IT partners and the business.

15% Maintaining a working knowledge of business unit processes, procedures and current applications.

15% Assisting with training and rollout plans for new systems or enhancements to existing systems.
