Administrative Assistant/Sales Coordinator
PrideStaff is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant with previous sales coordinating experience for a well known and respected client located in the Lombard, Illinois area. This individual provides sales and administrative support through a variety of different tasks. The candidate needs to have customer service experience as well as exceptional communication, organizational, and writing skills. This individual should have previous experience to support Regional activities.
The responsibilities include:
PrideStaff is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant with previous sales coordinating experience for a well known and respected client located in the Lombard, Illinois area. This individual provides sales and administrative support through a variety of different tasks. The candidate needs to have customer service experience as well as exceptional communication, organizational, and writing skills. This individual should have previous experience to support Regional activities.
The responsibilities include:
- Answer regional phone calls and distribute accordingly
- Maintain the project tracking database within the region
- Coordinate participation in industry events such as seminars as necessary
- Maintain regional contractor, architect and owner contact database
- Responsible for maintaining project quote archive
- Assist sales activities including the distribution of literature and samples, submitting AIA presentation credits for customers, and coordinating regional trade show materials
- Obtain project specifications and plans when necessary
- Support SAP activities throughout region
- Assist Customer Service Department with warranty billings and administrative activity
- Perform administrative duties for the region on an ongoing basis
- Follow all company policies, incl. environmental and safety policies
- Other tasks as directed
- Associate degree,
- 3+ years of similar work experience
- Previous support position in a sales support function highly desirable
- Computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, Windows and PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Must be able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with ERP database systems, preferably SAP, would be a plus
