Get Paid as Your Family CAREGiver - Full-time / Part-time

If you are currently providing care for someone and would like more information on how to get paid for your services this should be of interest to you.  

For many people in Pennsylvania who provide unpaid CAREGiving for a family member, neighbor or friend -- either in that person's home or in your own -- it might be possible, through us, for you to be hired as a caregiver and be compensated for your services. 

If the individual you are caring for is eligible for the Medicaid Waiver Program in Philadelphia or Montgomery County, there are funds available to provide assistance to you.  We can help you through the process.

Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion. 

 Duties include, but are not limited to:
    •Companionship and conversation
    •Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
    •Medication and appointment reminders
    •Assistance with grooming and bathing
    •Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
    •Alzheimer’s Care

Must have several years experience caring for a family member, friend or for another Home Care Agency,

Requirements to be a CAREGiver:
    •Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
    •Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
    •Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen
    •Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance
