WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
American Girl, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mattel, located in the Galleria Mall in Dallas, TX. We are currently seeking a Host to thrive in a friendly and fast-paced environment. This position will be responsible for:
* Approach and engage all customers within 30 seconds in a professional and courteous manner.
* Initiate conversations with customers and provide them with personalized attention.
* Treat all guests equally and respectfully.
* Use sound judgment to handle challenging service situations quickly and professionally.
* Maintain a fair and accurate waitlist and maximize seating capacity.
* Communicate special requests and birthday information clearly and quickly.
* Consistently demonstrate the principles of MAGIC. Actively support the mission of the company, which is “To Celebrate Girls.”
* Organize seating charts for optimum seating capacity and customer comfort while maintaining the highest degree of accuracy.
* Utilize Guestbridge effectively in all aspects of customer service.
* Facilitate events and programs as needed
Experience, Education & Skills
Requirements
* Successful candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of restaurant experience in a high-volume restaurant.
* Be comfortable working with children through personal interactions.
* Thrive on providing a warm and engaging service to our guests in order to provide a magical experience
