Sales Supervisor

Patterson’s, a dance apparel and shoes specialty retailer, is searching for a dedicated, hard-working full-time Sales Supervisor to lead a fast paced team in Burlington, MA. 

General Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year retail management or a key holder experience, please do NOT apply if you do not have management experience.
• Dance, Theatre and Arts experience not mandatory but helpful
• Strong communication skills
• Leadership qualities
• Strong computer skills; knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Strong selling strategies when it comes to fashion and dance apparel
• Ability to manage/train staff members
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and certain holidays.
• Ability to work a minimum of two weekend shifts per fiscal month.
• Ability to work a minimum of two opening shifts and two closing shifts per calendar week.
• Must have knowledge of basic math functions (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and calculating percentages).

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s policies and applicable laws.  Including but not limited to:

-Planning, assigning and directing work

-Appraising performance

-Coaching and disciplining employees

Physical Requirements:

• Standing and Walking
• Lifting
• Climbing ladders
• Visual Activity (Sufficient to locate merchandise and distinguish denominations of currency)
• Stooping and Bending
