If you have a desire to work with the senior population in a restaurant dining environment with the opprtunity to impact a senior;s life in a postiive way then join our team! Independent Senior Retirement Community is seeking to fill a part-time server position.

Seeking to add to our current team of caring, energetic, and realiable individuals.

Must be flexible to cover shifts which may include morning, afternoon, evening, weekends and holidays. Dining operating hours are from 7:00AM-6:00PM.

The server delivers and serves meals and snacks to residents, families, and guests in an efficient, attentive and courteous manner to achieve an overall gracious dining experience.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complete all dining room opening and closing duties as established by your community, dietary department and specific area of responsibility.
• Create a satisfying dining experience, according to Spectrum Dietary standards and policies.
• Direct residents to their tables, present menus,suggest dishes,assist in drink selection, inform residents, family, and other guests about food preparation details.
• Perform all assigned sanitation, stocking, food preparation and housekeeping/cleaning duties as outlined in the Spectrum Dietary Standards and policies.
• Participate in all pre-shift meetings.
• Ability to promptly solve minor operational problems.
• Strong customer service attitide/presentation.
• Caring and compassionate towards others.
• Previous relevant experience preferred.
• Training provided.
