The primary duties of this position will include assisting with maintaining accurate inventory quantities at the target levels. Maintains a positive attitude and good employee moral toward teamwork, safety, and quality. Follows all Company policies as directed by Employee Handbook, the Safety Rules and Regulations, and the Quality Manual. Follows established work instructions to create daily production plan based on the monthly production plan, material availability and customer deliveries. Assists with calculating the raw material needed to support the production plan. Submits the purchasing plan for raw material and the forecasts for raw material and outside processes to the Purchasing Department. Tracks internal daily production progress. Reports large production deficiencies or production excesses in actual to plan quantities.

Requirements
High school diploma or GED required, some college courses preferred.
Strong administrative skills, and at least two years of experience in a manufacturing environment in a sales, production, or production control-type administrative position.
Intermediate computer skills in MS Office software (Word, Excel, and Access).
Above average communication skills both verbal and written.
Above average customer service skills.
Able to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment while maintaining high ethical standards.
Forklift training and experience as well as a valid driver’s license beneficial
