As the Director of AR Workforce Management and Analytics, you will be responsible for leading the AR Workforce and Analytics team. This Leader will partner with Store Operations and other corporate functions (Technology, Finance, etc.) to develop a strategic roadmap and execute initiatives to optimize labor with the goal of improving the customer experience, employee experience and store performance. This person will also be responsible for People Analytics that identifies operational business insights and strengthens enterprise-wide decision-making and AR's role as a Strategic Business Partner.

Responsibilities:

Workforce Management

· Lead the development of the strategic vision for enterprise-wide Labor Management, including new Labor Model, Labor Budgets, Dynamic Scheduling, and End User Adoption.

· Partner with Operations leaders to establish and commit to key labor optimization KPIs and accountability measures to drive adoption across the enterprise.

· Create a technical roadmap for the Workforce Management (WFM) Platform to support all operating divisions and in collaboration with Technology partners.

· Lead the execution of WFM projects to deliver new capabilities and own the change management and adoption by the users.

· Direct Operations to opportunities to create “a disciplined Labor Management culture” with simple and effective tools and developing more efficient standard operating procedures.

· Support Operations Management with labor planning and forecasting processes

· Develop training in partnership with Operations to maximize system efficiencies and optimization

· Develop a highly engaged team who are accountable for results and achieving department and company goals.

· Develop and maintain industry relationships for benchmarking and best practices for continuous innovation and improvement

AR Analytics

· Develop analysis utilizing workforce trends and data that influence business leaders on critical business decisions

· Create Workforce and People Analytics to increase organizational effectiveness and performance

· Create simple, effective People Metrics Scorecards to drive partnership and accountability

· Create powerful AR reporting and analytics to support all enterprise decision making

· Support Enterprise and AR Leadership with delivering timely, accurate, and insightful People reports

· Educate and coach AR Business Partners on the use of data in decision making and problem analysis

· Serve as the Custodian of Employee Records and partner with Records Retention, Legal and Information Assurance to maintain compliance.

· Serve as the AR Business Owner of the HR data owning data management for Employee Lifecycle Data (i.e. data input and audit processes; data integrity)

· Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual AR reporting for Aaron's Executive Leadership, Divisional Vice Presidents, and other stakeholders.

Position Requirements:

  • 8 or more years of HR leadership or relevant experience showing progression to increasingly larger scale, more complex responsibilities
  • Proven leadership skills to build the culture and affect organizational change through strategy, initiatives, and solutions
  • Proven partnership and collaboration with Executive Leadership and cross functional Leadership (Operations, Technology, Finance, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of Workforce Management strategy, initiatives, solutions and tools
  • Proven experience in people management
  • Proven experience in strategic planning and managing a P&L.
  • Proven experience in end to end enterprise project management and rollout.
  • Strongly prefer 4 years' experience in consulting, innovation, or strategy development
  • Strongly prefer retail experience
  • Partnership with and travel to Divisional Vice Presidents required
