BASIC PURPOSE: The basic purpose of this position is to process and reconcile customer invoices, as well as accurately documenting customer activity, and responding to customer communications, so that the Company can  production timely and accurate financial statements.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process customer invoices on a daily, weekly, and monthly cycle
  • Respond to customer emails, calls, etc.
  • Ensure that all manual and system generated invoices are entered into SAP
  • Monitor the Outlook A/R Inbox folder
  • Send out monthly billing statements
  • Assist in the calculation of interest charges
  • Prepares monthly journal entries and uploads
  • Prepare monthly workpapers for Trillium balance sheet accounts
  • Interact with external auditors to complete the year-end audit
  • Prepare ad hoc reports and/or analysis requested by management or other departments
  • Special projects as deemed necessary

 

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required 
  • Experience:
    • 5-7  years' experience in a high volume billing environment  and  SAP/Winshuttle experience a plus

 

SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Skills:
    • Team player with the ability to adapt and be flexible but able to work independently as well
    • Ability to manage numerous competing demands in an extremely high stress environment
    • Excellent attention to detail, time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
    • Ability to understand and interpret customer contracts
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Typical Physical Demands:
    • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping
    • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
    • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator
    • Requires normal range of hearing and vision
