Valet - Wisconsin - Full Time - Full-time

Job Description:

Provide valet parking and front door guest services for patients, visitors, and guests. Proactively approach, greet and acknowledge all customers in a friendly, professional manner and provide quick, responsive customer service.

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

·      Operate, park and retrieve all vehicles in a safe manner by obeying all traffic laws, facility policies and pedestrian regulations.

·      Assist each guest in and out of their vehicle which includes opening/closing car doors, and retrieving/storing belongings.

·      Provide each guest with outstanding customer service. This includes a proper greeting, farewell and any other communications.

·      Assist in maintaining traffic flow which is free of congestion.

·      Maintain accurate valet logs and other required data.

·      Monitor illegal parking.

·      Keep work area clean with no obstructions.

·      Maintain established safety guidelines.

·      Ensure that guests are made aware of relevant services to include hours of operation and hours of key retrieval.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

·      Ability to operate a standard and automatic transmission.

·      Ability to maintain a high degree of attention required to prevent injury to others and damage to vehicles.

·      Ability to jog to and from the vehicle storage area for long periods of time.

·      Ability to work in an environment that is not necessarily protected from weather and temperature changes with exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid or windy weather conditions for long periods of time.

·      Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, balance and reconcile figures, and transcribe accurately.

·      Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing.

·      Ability to work effectively with other employees, patients and external parties.

·      Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of organizational policies, procedures and systems.

QUALIFICATIONS:

·      Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.

·      Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license with a MVR criteria meeting company guidelines.

EDUCATION
High school diploma or GED required.

CERTIFICATE/PROFESSIONAL LICENSE - N/A

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS - Requires jogging, walking, sitting, some bending, stooping and stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity to operate a vehicle. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight. Must be able to lift, push, pull objects up to 50 pounds with reasonable accommodation, and exhibit full range of motion including standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing and crouching.

Progressive Parking Solutions is a leader in Hospital Valet services, we operate the Valet Parking at Aurora Medical Centers. We have Full time opportunities available at Aurora St. Luke's Hospital on South 27th and Oklahoma Ave.

The driving positions we have available are between the hours of 5:00am - 9:00pm Monday - Friday!

Aurora St. Luke's - 5:00am - 9:00pm (Full time, Monday - Friday)7.25/hr plus tips = $11-$14/hr

Our valets must be well groomed, physically fit, helpful, patient, and must enjoy working with people and providing great guest service. This is a guest service position.You must be able to work shifts Monday through Friday. We do not work on Saturday or Sunday!

REQUIREMENTS! IF YOU DO NOT MEET ALL OF THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS, PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND, AS WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO HIRE YOU:

Must be AT LEAST 19 years old and must have had your license for AT LEAST 3 years .Must have a clean Driving Record AND a current Drivers License. If you have multiple speeding tickets, unpaid tickets, suspended license, you will be disqualified. If you have 3 or more tickets in the past 4 years, please do not apply. If you have been convicted of a DUI in the past 7 years please do not apply.

*Must pass a pre-employment drug screening .

*Must pass a Criminal Background Check.

*Ability to drive a manual transmission (stick shift) is a plus!

*Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.This is a physical job and qualified candidates must be able to stand/run for up to 8 hours per day.
