Job Title: Engineer
Location: East Windsor, CT
Job Type: Full-time
Pay rate: $70,000-$80,000+
Shift Type: 1st
Schedule: Monday-Friday 6AM-3PM
Total Hours per Week: 40
ESSENTIALS DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Understand aerospace quality systems which include: AS9100, 14CFR21.303, DO-178B, DO-254.
- Knowledge of statistical techniques (SPC) and Total Quality Management practices and tools.
- GE knowledge
- Measure and Track key quality metrics of the organization.
- Provide site support to help maintain AS9100 Certification.
- Capable of hands on technical component expertise.
- Capable of hands on Manufacturing floor in process inspection support.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have manufacturing and GE systems experience.
- Interface with customers, regulatory agencies and certification bodies to demonstrate quality system compliance, address quality issues and proactively communicate improvement activities.
- Experience in quality assurance aerospace environment is a plus.
- Excellent oral and written communication.
- Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills.
- Proficient in PC network.
