Associate Corporate Counsel - Sling TV - Full-time

Sling TV L.L.C., a subsidiary of DISH Network Corporation (NASDAQ: DISH), provides over-the-top (OTT)  television services including domestic and international live and Video-On-Demand programming. A successful candidate will have the following:

• Admitted to practice law in at least one state.
• A J.D. from an accredited law school with a law school class rank in at least the top 25%.
• Excellent communication, organization and multi-tasking skills.
• A passion for the in-house practice of law.
• A desire to work closely with our business teams on marketing Sling, negotiating deals, growing the business, and developing company strategy.
• Energy, resourcefulness and a demonstrated desire to achieve.
• Ability to draft business and legal documentation in Spanish would be a plus.

We are seeking an Associate Corporate Counsel or Corporate Counsel for Sling TV with 2-5 years of full-time contract drafting experience with a large law firm and/or corporation. All candidates must be eager to learn and demonstrate energy and a need for achievement. Candidates should have deep experience negotiating and drafting complex commercial deals.  The ideal candidate would also have legal knowledge/experience in one or more of the following areas:  marketing, advertising, e-commerce, privacy, licensing, content distribution, consumer apps, and mobile devices. This position is an excellent opportunity to join a vibrant and growing organization and industry. 

Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories:

• Drafting and negotiating a wide variety of complex commercial contracts, with a focus on marketing and co-promotion contracts. 
• Creating and updating eCommerce documentation and policies.
• Working closely with our business teams to accomplish company goals.
• Creating and implementing legal policies in connection with changing business plans.
• Assisting with other responsibilities as needed.
