Medical Assistant Opportunity
Job Duties:
- Perform documentation in NextGen - Interview and screen patients, conduct patient history review.
- Perform routine lab tests
- Communicate lab test results and process receipts of incoming lab results
- Triage incoming patient medical records to assure appropriate clinician review
- Communicate agency protocols, policy and procedures to clinicians and staff as appropriate.
Qualifications: MUST HAVES:
- At least completion of a Medical Assistant accredited program with externship in a clinic setting OR 1 year of clinic experience even if the program is not accredited.
- Externship experience (240 hours) or more doing phlebotomy and basic rapid tests or lab tests
NICE TO HAVES:
- Bilingual in Spanish
