Store Manager - Full-time / Part-time

Hire, train and develop store personnel; provide strong leadership that creates a consistent learning environment; and project a positive image to employees and customers. Adhere to and fully enforce all company policies and procedures. Maintain control of shrink, Sales Per Employee Hour (SPEH), ordering and merchandising to meet company and store goals. Maintain store conditions to meet or exceed company standards and provide customers with a pleasant and dignified shopping experience.

KEY FUNCTIONS

• Understand and own the responsibility for sales, profits and expense management of the store.
• Set and execute all work priorities while directing the assignment of individual task within the store.
• Train and execute good customer service.
• Properly maintain store conditions in compliance with company standards.
• Implement and comply with all company policies, including all accounting procedures.
• Train and develop store personnel to build a strong effective, cohesive team.

REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. EDUCATION/TRAINING

• REQUIRED: High School diploma or equivalent
• PREFERRED: College degree or some college work completed

2. EXPERIENCE

REQUIRED: Minimum of two (2) years retail management experience; previous experience in scheduling and merchandising; budgeting and expense control

ADDITIONAL SKILLS NEEDED

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in a multi-task environment; ability to work closing shift at least two (2) nights per week
