This position will be a direct report to the VP, Operations, Information Risk Management and will be involved in a broad range of critical activities ranging from highly strategic to tactical, and will play a key role in helping the Information Risk Management (IRM) organization focus on and achieve its critical goals. The Senior Manager,  Operations and Administration, will perform executive project oversight, manage resource assignment and allocation, and assist the VP Operations in identification, implementation and accomplishment of goals and key strategic initiatives. Primary Responsibilities:
Lead and / or participate as an operational team member responsible for planning, implementing, enabling, and supporting business operations functions across the IRM division.  This includes:  staffing/labor strategy, resource management/time accounting, TDP, real estate planning, facilities management, employee communications, meeting and special event planning and facilitation, goals/metrics/analytics/reporting, budget/financial management
 
Leadership

Translate and operationalize strategy into deliverables
Represent IRM (Information Risk Management) and liaise with an assortment of cross-functional partners including Finance, Human Capital, Communications, and all areas of the Business and Technology
Coordinate performance, planning and reporting and provide an important, central coordination point for our business support functions and strategic initiatives to ensure operational excellence and organizational effectiveness
Assist in issue/question/escalation follow up, delegation and closure as requested. Act as a point of contact between IRM and employees and other stakeholders; independently analyze and craft execution plans to delegated problems, issues and escalations
Provide business analysis and support, including information on the competitive landscape within the information security discipline and health care industry
Provide proactive pre-meetings with executive team to ensure success of events/execution of projects
Project Oversight /Management

Manage the portfolio of initiatives and provide strategic consultation on key projects to ensure alignment with Enterprise IRM priorities and effective and efficient solutions. Ad hoc/special projects as determined by IRM executives: provide leadership, strategic direction on behalf of IRM; serve as a liaison to key stakeholders and external parties.
Directly define, organize and execute projects on behalf of IRM
Track execution against objectives and independently address execution issues as needed
Review current-90 day out events, proactively facilitate needed preparation by independently procuring any people, information or resources needed for that event
Execute & coordinate the Financial processes required in the operations of the IRM officeCommunication
Ensure information flow between key stakeholders, Town Halls, off-sites, etc.
Proactively coordinate creation/coordination of presentation materials for upcoming events for IRM including:
Craft and deliver messages related to organization vision, mission and status
Independently craft Board Level, Sr. VP level presentations, decks and white papers
Develop and create internal and external meeting materialsPresent information to a wide array of internal and external audiences on a variety of topics

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

7+ years of Operational Leadership experience  (i.e.:  Budgets, Metrics/Reporting, Human Resources, Finance, Audit, and Facilities)
5+ years of designing and implementing business strategies, plans and procedures
2+ years of experience setting comprehensive goals for performance and growth
Strategic and tactical/operational experience with the ability to roll up your sleeves
Intermediate proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
2+ years of evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Operates with significant autonomy in decision-making
Strong decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Strong business/financial acumen
Process design, overhaul, and implementation experience
Continuous improvement experience and mindset
Deep experience in and command of staffing/resource management, metrics/reporting/analytics, employee communications, finance/budget, process creation/improvement/implementation, real estate planning, facilities management, and event planning
Ability to interact with individuals at all levels inside and outside (e.g., vendors, industry peers) the organization
Ability to build and maintain positive, productive cross-functional working relationships with Human Capital, Talent Acquisition, Knowledge & Learning, Finance, Technology Development Program, Enterprise Technology leadership, and others
Operates with a high degree of urgency and confidentiality
Ability to translate requirements into plans and action
Ability to see the big picture, connect the dots, dive into detail, drive ensuing action
Serve as operational leader for back office shared service functions supporting the entire Information Risk Management (IRM) division
 
Preferred Qualifications:

Strong technical acumen; preferably progressive experience in a technology environment (IT Security and/or Infrastructure especially helpful)
