As a Human Capital Intern, you will be responsible for providing analysis and support on corporate and business segment Human Capital projects. You will have the opportunity to gain practical human resources experience through multiple assignments spanning a variety of disciplines. 
 
Primary Responsibilities:
 


Talent Acquisition (Recruiting and Sourcing) – Understand staffing requirements of the business, source and recruit candidates while ensuring that service delivery agreements are met based on measures such as time to fill, cost of hire, offers declined and quick quits, etc.

Talent Development – Using needs assessment and skill analysis, design, develop, deliver training and performance-support solutions. Ensure learning transfer occurs to successfully address performance gaps. 

HC Analytics – Analyze people related metrics, trends and root causes to recommend solutions that balance HR risks and cost management throughout the organization.

Compensation - Provide analyses and support on enterprise-wide and business segment compensation projects strategies, policies, programs, and communications within the corporate compensation philosophy framework. 

Optum – Collaborate with Human Capital Partners to support the core processes and other HC strategic initiatives.  Support both the HC team with reporting, data analysis and interpretation  to support and influence business decisions

United Healthcare – Collaborate with Human Capital Partners to support the core processes and other HC strategic initiatives.  Support both the HC team with reporting, data analysis and interpretation  to support and influence business decisions
 

Required Qualifications: 

BA/BS degree
Enrolled in a Master’s level business program, preferably in Human Resources
Prior Human Resources experience (internships acceptable)
Ability to take direction from multiple sources, and prioritize work
Effective written and verbal communication
Deliver results with integrity
Build relationships of trust with effective interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize and execute on multiple projects & deadlines
Minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA
Must be willing to work out of Minnesota Corporate office
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization (F-1 students with practical training and candidates requiring H-1Bs, TNs, etc. will not be considered)
