Position Summary
The qualified candidate will assist the Kronos users with functional and technical specifications. Ability to complete Kronos technical specification documents according to guidelines and standards provided, create technical solutions to meet business requirements, design, code, test, deploy and manage time efficiently. Ability to quickly analyze and troubleshoot issues is a must.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Develop new and modify existing Kronos configuration setup, payrules, workrules, Hyperfind Queries, Genie, Crystal reports, accruals setup, write/support interfaces to/from Kronos to PeopleSoft HRMS v9.1 or higher, support Kronos imports/exports, working knowledge of Kronos Connect
  • Provide production support, troubleshoot Kronos clocks, setup users on Teletime, analyze user requirements, maintain in-house written systems interfaces between PeopleSoft HRMS v9.1 or higher and Kronos v6.3 or higher, contribute to the creation of project planning deliverables such as a testing strategy, conversion strategy, development standards, configuration strategy and an interface strategy. The creation of technical design documents per the business requirement specification document; design, develop, and unit testing of functionality identified for development

Job Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of Kronos Workforce Central v6.3 or higher to support systems implementation and maintenance with ability to setup payrules, Genies and Hyperfinds, develop Crystal reports, working knowledge of Kronos Connect/Workforce Integration Manager (WIM), and other reporting requests
  • Experienced guiding others in solving complex technical problems in Kronos Workforce v6.3 environment
  • Prior exposure to the technical environment of PeopleSoft HRMS (v9.1 or higher) with knowledge of relationships between delivered HRMS tables
  • Familiarity with PeopleCode and SQR needed to troubleshoot production issues
  • Technical knowledge of mainframe and client/server computing environments desired Ability to interact with functional users and business analysts to gather requirements
  • Ability to analyze user requests and recommend feasible solution(s)
  • Strong Excel, Word, and Access skills required
  • Proven experience with user training and client support required
  • Ability to thoroughly analyze situations
  • Work independently or as part of a team and to handle multiple projects required
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player approach required
  • Experienced is required in development lifecycle, data conversion and interfaces using SQR

Preferred Qualifications:
Prior Kronos and PeopleSoft formal training

Education and Experience:

4-year college degree with a business or IT major required
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent training, education
and experience.

Travel Requirements:
Yes, Travel - minimal 5% for training, etc.

Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:
No Supervisory responsibilities with this position.
