SALARY: $12-15.00/hour DOE
JOB DESCRIPTION: If you are a tech-savvy individual who loves hands-on work, and you have an astute attention to detail with mechanical assembly, we want to hear from you! A local company seeks a hardworking Manufacturing Assembler to join their team! This is a full-time position, with hours of 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday. Primary duties will include:
- Technical assembly and basic testing of products.
- Keeping inventory of production in computerized transactions.
- Receiving and distributing materials.
- Servicing and repairing customer returned units.
- Engineering prototype assembly using schematics, samples, and drawings.
QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate for this position will meet the following qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- 1-2 years of experience in technical assembly required.
- Strong mechanical assembly skills, including experience with pumps, motors, and transmissions.
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
- Excellent mechanical reasoning and basic knowledge of electronics.
- Excellent attention to detail, dexterity, and hand/eye coordination.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions, including information from production drawings and sample assemblies.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and occasionally lift up to 50lbs.
- Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check.
