About this job
Director of Maintenance is responsible for any of the following areas: facilities planning and coordination (including building services and building engineering), security, drivers, building operations (electrical, mechanical, alarms and monitors), equipment setup/ maintenance/ repair, and warehousing operations.

This function may also include HVAC Technicians requiring certifications as well as Data Center Technicians and Engineers.

Primary Responsibilities:
Responsible for enterprise maintenance in 4 high volume mail order pharmacies
Develops policy and procedures for maintenance department and monitors performance
Coordinate with pharmacy leadership to plan, prepare and carry out planned maintenance and engineering projects to ensure minimal downtime and cost
Prepare budgets and forecasting for annual maintenance plan as well as develop plans to minimize unforeseen maintenance cost
Manage maintenance teams to ensure uniform processes are in place throughout enterprise
Oversight responsibility in keeping the High volume mail order pharmacy equipment at optimum throughput with minimum downtime
Provide automation control, electrical, mechanical support and technical expertise to department
Oversee the creation of Standard Operating Procedure, Standard Maintenance Procedure, and team training
Provides leadership to and is accountable for the performance of managers and/or senior level professional staff
Impact of work is most often at the operational or local business unit or market level

Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
10+ years of experience working in a high volume, multiple-shift, Repacking / Manufacturing Environment
5+ years of supervisory experience
Able to travel 25% +
Developed maintenance programs and monitor metrics to control performance and reliability of tools
Experience with programmable logic controller (PLC), automation controls, electronic / mechanical, robotics, pneumatic, RFID, and Bar code readers
Experience in at least one the following processes: Descrambling, Labeling, Pill Filling, Capping, Weighting, Sorting, Packaging
Experience in CMMS
Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Office
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong leadership capabilities
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical with Electrical, Industrial Engineering, other degree with emphasis in electrical, mechanical, automation control and automation software
Working knowledge and experience in Mail Order Pharmacy
Worked with QMSI, HVS, Knapp, RXAS
Human Machine Interface (HMI) experience
Worked with E-MAINT (CMMS system)
Strong project management / organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously
