Position Overview

Our Client is looking for an experienced Tax Manager in Miami, FL

The Tax Manager will be responsible for a high volume of complex tax returns as well as reviewing and signing the returns of other accountants. The Tax Manager will also be tasked with performing advanced technical research and consulting services for various clients. Qualified candidates should have a strong commitment to client service with proven demonstration of technical tax competencies including but not limited to: High Net Worth Individuals; Multi-State Returns; Foreign Partnerships; FATCA; FBAR; various domestic and international returns (1065,1040, 1120, 1120s, 1041, 708, 709, Estate Returns) with special expertise in 5471; 8865 and 8621; transfer pricing etc. The Tax Manager will manage a team of 2 senior accountants. Job Requirements

Desired Skills/ Experience/Attributes
  • 7+ years advanced tax knowledge and experience including ability to research complex issues within state/federal/international tax codes
  • 5+ years’ experience in the role of Tax Manager
  • Prior supervisory experience
  • Superior knowledge of various Tax and Office software applications (Ultra Tax, CCH, Excel, etc.)
  • Proven experience effectively working with clients and team members, either directly, via phone or in writing, to answer technical questions, offer advice or make recommendations
  • Ability to speak a language in addition to English highly preferred (Spanish, French, Portuguese)
